High Quality Schools not only enrich our towns through human capital, but increase our property values and are an integral part of what makes a Community great. We need to ensure a balance of high quality schools and low taxes by having concerned residents willing to serve and preserve both.
For too long that balance has begun to swing towards lower performance and higher taxes. I am stepping up to bring back some balance and accountability to the school board. Shenendehowa Central Schools need leadership, fresh ideas and accountability. This is what I promise to bring to the school board. I will not be a rubber stamp for the Superintendent and the ever-growing bloated administration.
I love this area - this is why I live here. My 3 Children
attend Shenendehowa schools and I am fully vested in the quality of
their education. I also love my neighbors many of whom are on
fixed incomes. These residents can barley pay their school
taxes and many of them have left because they can't afford to stay
in their homes. This needs to stop - There is a better way.
We need to leverage our shared facilities and technology to drive
out costs without sacrificing education.
