Telesh has enthusiasm and leadership for school board
I am excited to hear that Rebecca Telesh is running for the school board at Shenendehowa. Many of [us] have heard of her ideas to create a truly open and fiscally accountable school district.
Rebecca volunteers in the schools, she is active in the Girls Scouts and at her church. Everything and everyone she touches knows what a great leader she is. She works tirelessly for others and you can count on her working tirelessly for you as well.
As a parent of students that go to Shenendehowa schools, I get tired of the name-calling people get when they ask about spending, budgets and taxes. You get called: “someone who doesn’t care about the kids.”
When Rebecca told me she was running, I drove over to her house to sign the petition and promised to do anything I could to get her elected. Everyone complains about their taxes but most people don’t know who is on the school board or even vote in school elections. Now it the time to take a stand and vote for someone who will bring real-world common sense to the board.
Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on May 18 at Gowana Middle School. Join me in voting for only one candidate for the board — Rebecca Telesh.
