Former School Board President endorses Rebecca Telesh for School Board
This letter is to support Rebecca Telesh for Shenendehowa School Board.
Rebecca is an active member in many facets of the community and I believe she would be an asset to the board. She believes in fiscal responsibility and fairness, She wants the community to be able to review the spending of the district, not just the overview or “snapshot” we have been given. If elected she will try to give all residents be availability to see district spending online so we all know where our money is being spent. This is done in many districts across the country and is not an uncommon practice.
As a former member of
the Shenendehowa School Board (2 years as president) and a
current member of the Clifton Park Town Planning Board I would
welcome this openness in communication of spending since we are
again being asked for a tax increase, this year in the amount of
up to 3.11%
